About Me

Miranda Plum Art

Resign from corporate life, sell the assets, go travelling, learn yourself.

In 2012 I resigned from a career in corporate sales to find myself waking up creative skills and a passion that had been dormant for a good 12 years.  Without much formal art training since high school I began turning inward to find out what skills I still had.  The creative journey catalysed such a fundamental shift for me… I traded the security of my house for an extended travel plan, swapped my windowless office for a portable art kit and a view, and when I lost my watch I found timelessness in creativity.

Together with my husband I embarked on a journey that has taken us through Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Australia, surfing some the most famous and rewarding surf breaks as we go.  The impressions left in my mind and my emotions from all the time we spend with nature are relived through my art.  My work captures hope and positivity, love for nature, love for adventure and Love itself.

As the travels have slowed and family life accelerated we have settled into the mid-west town of Carnarvon where I look forward to bringing workshops, art classes and exhibitions to locals and visitors.   If you would like to be kept updated on events,  artworks and exhibitions subscribe via this website and I will keep you in touch.

No matter where you are most of my artwork is easy to courier or post so if you see something you like or have an idea for a commission I would be happy to hear from you.  Each piece brings me a lot of joy in creating them and I am honoured that some pieces will find their way into someone else’s home and bring them enjoyment too.

Thanks for your interest in my art and I hope you like it as much as I loved creating it.
