This artwork is painted with Boranup Forest Charcoal and mica processed by hand into oil paints.
The patterns in this artwork come through as a third-eye vision. It’s a different vision than imagination, and appears in “front of me” while my eyes are closed. They change relative to the feeling or concept I’m holding in my body and consciousness at the time.
I often see triangles as one of the main light patterns, appearing in many forms. In this case, the birds flying to the centre brought a sense of freedom – not undirected freedom, but what is required to answer a soul’s calling.
